Project Overview

I had the opportunity to work on OASIS, an innovative and open-sourced social media simulator designed to study large-scale group behaviors and complex social phenomena in digital environments. OASIS replicates real-world platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit, incorporating dynamic social networks, diverse action spaces (e.g., following, commenting), and recommendation systems to simulate up to one million agents interacting simultaneously.

Scope of Work

In this AI research project, I took a hands-on approach to fully understand the technology and create compelling content that brought the innovation to life. My contributions included:

In-Depth Research & Understanding: To ensure accuracy and depth in my work, I conducted interviews with the project’s creator, gaining insights into the research, its methodology, and its potential impact. I also explored the codebase and ran the AI model myself, allowing me to grasp its functionality and communicate it effectively.

Blog Post: Wrote a comprehensive and engaging blog post that broke down the AI research for a diverse audience. The post highlighted the technology’s applications, benefits, and future possibilities, making complex concepts accessible to both technical and non-technical readers. (Click here to read)

Product Launch Video: Conceptualized and produced a captivating product launch video designed to generate excitement and spark conversations. The video showcased the AI technology’s key features, its real-world relevance, and its potential to drive innovation, using a visually appealing and narrative-driven approach.

YouTube Video: Built on the momentum of the launch by creating a dedicated YouTube video that delved deeper into the AI research. This video included a demonstration of the technology in action, insights from my hands-on experience with the code.
